With seven levels of impressive architecture, UMoMA presents displays of global contemporary art, at times alongside art historical retrospectives. Substantial, political and philosophical matters are inherent to our schedule. As a guest, you are urged to participate in guided tours, artist discussions, talks, movie screenings and other events with complimentary entry
The shows are created by UMoMA in partnership with artists and galleries around the globe and they frequently garner worldwide attention. UMoMA has gained a Special Commendation from the European Museum of the Year, and was among the top contenders for the Swedish Museum of the Year Award as well as for the Council of Europe Museum Prize.
